The warm and inviting office contains a cabinet sample room which boasts four lines of cabinets, product and material libraries, a tile and carpet wholesale division, and conference rooms equipped with computer screens/large screen TV to review your design work with your team of professionals.

Service Area

Located in Mill Creek, WA, Estate Homes serves the greater Puget Sound area, but it also serves a greater geographic location for its custom home building division working as far south as Gig Harbor, west to the islands, and east to Chelan County and Eastern Washington.  Some of the cities Estate Homes works in are: Bellevue, Clyde Hill, Edmonds, Everett, Issaquah, Kenmore, Kirkland, Medina, Mercer Island, Mukilteo, Redmond, Sammamish, Seattle, Shoreline, Snohomish and Woodinville.

History

Ken Cornett, President and founder of Estate Homes, started in the construction business in the late 70's building some of the first homes around Mill Creek.  His experience as a carpenter, framer, superintendent and laborer gave him a solid foundation upon which to build his practice.  Early in his career Ken built seventeen custom homes and remolded multitude of homes in the Mill Creek vicinity. Ken realized early on that his business would only be as good as his reputation and that his own personal ethics would be the guiding force of his practice for the rest of his life. In the late 90's Ken moved from his home-based business into a business plaza in Mill Creek, WA, now the current Estate Homes office.  He began assembling a staff of design and construction veterans who would be the cornerstone of the growth and expansion of Estate Homes for next ten years:

Steve Nelson, a builder and remodeler with 36 years experience, 19 of which were at his own company.

Doug Cote, a builder and journeyman carpenter with 35 years of experience, 21 of which were at his own company.

Mark McKenzie, a builder and carpenter with 28 years of experience, 7 of which were at his own company.

Craig Carney, a residential designer and builder with 12 years of experience including his own business.

Linda Kruger, hired on as General Manager, with 23 years of experience managing businesses and working/consulting with builders and developers. In the beginning the office was small, only 500 square feet, but business grew steadily and today the office is 3500 square feet including a cabinet sample room, a flooring and tile wholesale office, conference rooms and material and product libraries.  The staff developed and honed a system that enables clients to have a great experience going through the design and build process.  This process is the cornerstone of Estate Homes and the means to achieving "The Estate Homes Experience"
